F.A.Q.

What does Neurodivergent mean?

Neurodivergent is an umbrella term that includes people with conditions like ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and others.   The word Neurodivergent came out of a movement that frames these conditions as natural variations in brain wiring, instead of deficits or disorders.

Do I have to be LGBTQ+ and/or Neurodivergent to come to Lahr Block events or use the space?

No, Absolutely not. The Lahr Block is inclusive.  The only people who aren't welcome are those who seek to disturb, discriminate, be rude or otherwise disrupt others.

Why is it called the Lahr Block?

After Nicolas Lahr who built the building in 1887.
