Built in 1887
as an investment property for local blacksmith and businessman Nicolas Lahr. The building was remodeled to combine three buildings into one in 1901. Among Mr. Lahr's first tenants were Columbia Bookstore, F.W. Price Clothing, Charles F. and George S. Brigham - physicians, Peter Brick - Attorney and real estate, Edward and Woods Co., Ms. M.E. Sullivan - hair dresser, Ira L. Edmunds - physician, and Hubert Hansen - Attorney, Real Estate and Insurance. Later tenants included RF. Bryant's Drugstore, Kinney's Shoes, Goodman's Jewelers, Connie's Bridal, Murphy Music Co., Ragstock clothing, St.Cloud Children's Museum and Geocomm.
